Bridge of Allan
A charming little village by the Allan Water. It is a short walk to Stirling University and is overlooked by the National Wallace Monument, a towering tribute to Scotland’s, Sir William Wallace, and within sight of Stirling’s cliff-top castle. The village with its fine Victorian buildings and unique shops has a long standing reputation as a popular holiday destination and has much to offer visitors.

Callander
25 minute drive from Stirling city centre, through Doune. It's a popular base for people on walking and cycling holidays, exploring the Lochs, glens and highlands of Scotland.

The University Campus
2 miles from Stirling city centre, with Causewayhead Road always buzzing with people walking from the University into town. B&Bs are very popular on this road, with people visiting Stirling University as it's only a short walk away to the campus. Or you may wish to stay at the Stirling Management Centre on the campus.

Bannockburn
Just over a mile from Stirling City centre. A major re-development of the Bannockburn Heritage Centre is currently under development in time for the 2014 celebrations of the 700th Anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn.

The Trossachs

Dunblane
About 3 miles from Stirling city centre. Re-vitalised town centre as new business owners have moved in. The Andy Murray effect has the city of Dunblane on a high.
