City Centre hotels and B&Bs
In many cases the reason for your visit will determine where you want to stay. If you wish to stay in a hotel in Stirling City Centre, The Golden Lion Hotel on King Street or The Terraces Hotel on Melville Terrace may be what you require to be near the pubs and restaurants in the city centre. The King Robert Hotel is located in Bannockburn, just a few miles outside the city centre with plenty of parking and located just a few minutes off the motorway network.

As you travel over the River Forth from Stirling city centre and under the railway bridge, there is a mile of road awash with the finest quality B&B's and Guest Houses. This Victorian village is situated less than three miles from the centre of Stirling and one mile from the University. The two main hotels in the village are Adamo Hotel and the Royal Hotel as well as a number of well run B&B's and self catering accommodation properties for rent. Bridge of Allan has a railway station on the main line North so is easily reached by train, bus or car from Stirling. There are a range of short walks, shops and cafes, restaurants and bars as well as a wide range of Victorian architecture built when the village developed into a spa town during the Victorian era.
